Since 2021, we have been taking over the hardware lifecycle management for mobile devices for the UKM. In-house IT can focus on its core tasks as a result.
The challenge in the initial situation was to significantly simplify communication and interaction with the end user.
With the introduction of hardware lifecycle management, we are regulating and optimizing the entire processes surrounding the procurement, rollout, issue and replacement of mobile devices.
The focus is always on simple communication with the end user and direct support when setting up the mobile devices. Seidel & Friends acts as an interface between UKM's internal IT and the end user and, in addition to personal on-site service, also takes care of the connection to mobile device management as well as the entire warranty, guarantee and repair processing. In-house IT is relieved and can thus devote its specialist know-how to more important issues in the hospital's day-to-day operations.
As part of our hardware lifecycle management, we also offer a dismount service for end devices that are no longer usable. In this case, the devices are deleted in a certified manner and recycled in accordance with DIN66399.
The accruing documentation is also taken over by Seidel & Friends and is transmitted digitally at regular intervals. This provides the optimal basis for evaluating and continuously optimizing the entire project. Security and DSGVO compliance is always the main criterion for all of all customer requirements.
Since the hectic daily hospital routine does not always go according to plan, UKM employees always have the option to fall back on our express service, where we enable device replacement within 3 hours.
