GfTD GmbH, founded in 2005, is one of the leading full-service companies in the telecommunications market. From consulting and planning to implementation, GfTD supports companies in meeting the challenges posed by rapid product changes and dynamics in the telecommunications market. Its main customers comprise mobile and fixed network / landline operators, energy companies and their system technology suppliers.

Being in business for over 18 years, GfTD GmbH now employs more than 1,300 people. In order to ensure smooth and fast service operations, the company’s employees and field workers are based across several locations nationwide. Off-the-shelf and standard solutions are not an option for GfTD - based on many years of experience, the company specializes in proposing and implementing individual solutions, which meet the customers‘ needs.

Since 2020, the Seidel + Friends team has been working together with GfTD GmbH and its subsidiaries at 5 locations, paving the way towards implementing the most modern telecommunications solutions. On the one hand, this helps to simplify and digitalize everyday work, and on the other, it noticeably reduces costs and optimizes the use of resources.

As a first step, we recorded all existing mobile phone contracts in our customer portal (TEM) and analyzed the current traffic, usage patterns and requirements. By changing tariffs and / or providers, we were able to quickly make adjustments which optimized cost structures. GfTD GmbH and all its employees always have an overview of their usage behavior and costs incurred.

Through the introduction of Hardware Lifecycle Management, we organize, control and optimize all processes around the procurement, rollout and replacement of mobile devices. In case a device gets lost or damaged, we are able to configure and send the user a new device with his / her profile data in a timely manner, as all the necessary information is stored in the Mobile Device Management system. In addition, we have standardized the device types / models of the mobile hardware inventory that we manage. Moreover, after carrying out a comprehensive analysis, we were also able to reduce the variety of models in order to ensure faster processes in this area.
